Reference to the news article issued in Al Sharq, Gulf Times and Qatar Tribune newspapers titled "Barwa Real Estate syndicating $250mn Islamic loan" on November 3 2016, Barwa would like to highlight that this news was not issued by any Barwa official, and was based on banking sources, as stated in the news article.
Additionally, Barwa would like to indicate the inaccuracy regarding the news of syndicating such an amount for the purpose of refinancing the Company's financial liabilities, as it has already completed this process as disclosed since 19 May 2016.
Furthermore, the Company will also adhere to disclosing any new financing agreements or other events as and when concluded, in line with the applicable disclosure requirements.
