In collaboration with the Supreme Council of Health, Barwa Real Estate Group implemented the second phase of its “Workplace Wellness Programme”, through hosting the “Health Check Up” campaign and the “Action on Diabetes Bus” in the parking lot of Tower 1 in Barwa Al Sadd Towers (Barwa premises).
The medical team handling the programme conducted health checkup for 132 employees from Barwa & subsidiaries; Tanween Company, QPM Company and Emdad Company; through measuring body mass index, blood pressure, blood sugar levels and lipid profile (cholesterol levels in the blood). They also provided medical consultations based on check-up results.
The second phase of the programme aims to identify risk factors for chronic diseases, as well as to educate participants on those diseases.
The Heath Check Up campaign is part of the “Workplace Wellness Programme” which Barwa Group is implementing for its staff members. Its objectives revolve around encourage employees to foster a healthier lifestyle and their ability to overcome work pressure.
