Barwa Real Estate Company has announced the award of the construction of "Barwa Village Extension" project to the Contractor "M/s. Insha Co. - W.L.L." (ICT) for a total value of QAR 63,000,000 and a duration of 18 months. 'Barwa Village Extension' project is an extension to the existing Barwa Village and "reflects quality in design". Barwa Village Extension Project will be constructed on a plot area of 11,096 sq. m and consist of four floors Building with a total built up area of 34,492 sq. m. The strip building ground and mezzanine floors contain 56 shops, 10 food and beverage units, and four anchor stores with areas between 72.00 - 740 sq. m, in addition to a supermarket with an area of 1,338 sq. m. The first, second and third floors contain 177 residential apartments comprise of 84 one-bedroom apartments with buildup area between 73 - 76 sq. m, 87 two bedroom apartments with buildup area between 111 - 113 sq. m and 6 studios with buildup areas between 47 - 58 sq. m. The Infrastructure work includes construction of two distribution substations and all required utilities for electricity, potable water, drainage, hard & soft landscape, CCTV, roads and car parks, with all storage tanks and pump rooms for potable water, firefighting and Gas. Barwa Village Extension is 2017 first project launched by Barwa Real Estate after launching of Manateq, Madinat Al Mawater and Dara A projects during 2016 as per Company Business Plan. It is worth mentioning that there is no Conflict of Interest between Barwa Real Estate and Insha Co. - W.L.L.
