Amenities Of Barwa City To Become Operational Soon

 Barwa announces good news to Barwa City tenants as construction work for all the amenities inside the city are now completed and units are handed over to tenants to prepare for soft openings of their shops. The city is now 90% occupied and well become even more vibrant once shops and restaurants are all open. The group which announced last year financial results few days back, hides more announcements and news on progress in current developments and upcoming investment opportunities.
Barwa recorded recently the progress of Barwa City amenities operations and services provided to tenants of both the residential and the commercial units. The residential city in Mesaimeer area is a self-sufficient community offering 128 residential buildings with 6,000 residential units and a capacity to accommodate up to 25,000 residents. Among the many blocks of buildings inside Barwa City, many amenities exist divided into East Amenities and West Amenities.
 
The East Amenity provides a school with capacity of 2000 students, a shopping center, a multi-purpose hall, a big mosque (Juma mosque), in addition to 2 play grounds, one of which contains public toilets. Moreover, East Amenity has two different zones located North East & South East of the city, each zone consists of a mosque and a kindergarten.
 
The West Amenity, on the other hand, provides a school with capacity of 2000 students, a grand mosque that is bigger in size than the Juma mosque and a commercial complex over 2 floors, the first floor to gather shops, while the second floor is to serve as a food court. Similar to the East Amenity, there are two zones located North West & South West. All the schools and kindergartens within Barwa City are leased by Newton International School, one school and two kindergartens are already operational while the remaining school and two remaining kindergartens are to open September 2014. Lulu Hypermarket is another anchor tenant in Barwa City as the popular hypermarket signed a deal with Barwa to lease the shopping center and the multi-purpose hall next to it. Lulu Hypermarket is scheduled to open the shopping center during the second quarter of 2014. Barwa City has good lighting during the night, the quiet atmosphere and the private community makes the city a great place for tenants who love to sport. All traffic lights around the city are now operational, except for one which will be activated soon.
