"Today Barwa launches its participation in Cityscape Qatar 2014 with a number of distinctive investment opportunities, starting with the sales of “Dara” units during the first day of the exhibition which starts 12:30pm in presence of H.E. Mr. Salah Bin Ghanem Al Ali, Minister of Youth & Sports and Barwa Chairman, and Eng. Ahmad Abdulla Al Abdulla, Acting Group CEO of Barwa Real Estate, during which Dara information and design will be revealed. Barwa had launched the concept of Dara last year during the same event as it attracted the interest of many investors back then.
With the launch of Cityscape Qatar 2014, the biggest real estate event in the region, Eng. Ahmad Al Abdulla said: “we dedicate our efforts at the moment to support our distinguished real estate and investment projects, which include the start of selling and leasing of units as part of Dara and Barwa Al Baraha, among other opportunities which will be released throughout the year”.

During Cityscape Qatar 2014, Barwa will display models of Dara project which is situated in the north of the Fox Hills area in Lusail City. Barwa commits to completing Dara within three years, the timeline of the project completion, to develop it into an integrated multi use development, extending over 147.401 square meters, offering more than 1000 residential units divided between 56 buildings. Units vary from one bedroom, two bedroom, three bedroom and penthouse “duplex”. Barwa will also display the units of Barwa Al Baraha for leasing. Upon completion, Barwa Al Baraha will be offering a total of 9,872 rooms as accommodation for 53000 workers.
Barwa subsidiaries will be taking part in Cityscape this year. Waseef which provides property management services for Barwa will be handling the sales and leasing activities of Barwa projects including Dara, Barwa Al Baraha and Barwa Commercial Avenue, among others. Tanween and Qatar Project Management will be participating as well, being well known companies in the real estate market in Qatar.
